TRAINING:
I teach puppy and beginner basic training classes at PetSmart. Training strengthens the bond between you and your dog and the group setting gives them a chance to socialize with other dogs. Learn all the basics like sit, stay, down, drop it, leave it just to name a few...Plus the real important ones like not pulling on the leash for walks, come when called and how to avoid unwanted behaviors such as jumping up and nipping/biting.  The classes are done right in the store so your dog can master the skills during distractions creating a real-life scenario for your dog to learn under. (Because let's face it, most dogs are perfect at home when it's quiet and controlled but out in the real world it's another story)   PetSmart classes are 100% satisfaction guaranteed and family friendly; we encourage all family members to attend who will be assisting with the training and discipline of your dog to ensure consistency at home.  6 week course is only $119

K9 COACHING:
I've been coaching my clients for years on how to be a better pack leader at home and to have a better relationship with their dog ... Now anyone can benefit from my personalized K9 Coaching.  Remember, if you are not being a leader at home for your dog, they will take over that position for you. That's natures way for dogs. There MUST be a leader. Not to be confused with obedience training that I do at PetSmart, K9 Coaching is an in-home consultation to evaluate your home relationship, pack order and breed-specific needs to come up with a plan to help you with problem solving and give you skills and exercises that help you to better establish your leadership roll and ultimately have a harmonious relationship between you, your family and your dog.  Aside from lack of exercise, often times lack of leadership is the underlying problem to many behavior issues. Is your dog possessive of people in your family or items in your home such as your bed and furniture? Do they go into a frenzy at feeding time or lose-it when you leave the house? Does your world revolve around catering to your dogs every whim and you allow them to manipulate you?
