Years ago, after boarding my dog at some reputable places but wanting to find a home-like environment with the personal care that my Golden Retriever is used to, I started searching and discovered Dedicated 2 Dogs. I met with Amy so we could get to know each other and she could evaluate Pippi. Amy has extensive experience and knowledge about dogs, and she provides very attentive and personal care. She is friendly, professional, and very accommodating. She knows my dog and her routine so Pippi is relaxed and comfortable when she is there. I never worry about Pippi's health or well-being when she is staying with Amy and Dave.

My name is Bailey and I am a yellow lab. I will turn 3 years old in June of 2008. I love Dedicated to Dogs and all of my friends I have met there over the past couple of years. I am a "regular" at daycare and have been since the spring of 2006. I am known as a "ladies man" at daycare. I have many girlfriends, the newest one being Ruby the labradoodle. Past girlfriends include Lucy the Lab, Willow the Boxer and Emily, the Jack Russell terrier. When my humans ask me "Do you want to go to Amy's?" I go absolutely crazy with excitement and run to the door so we can hurry up and go because I know what it means. After a day at daycare, I am so well-exercised that I fall asleep in my humans' car before we are even out of Middleboro on our way back home. I am a very well-adjusted and well-socialized dog because of the time I spend at Dedicated to Dogs.

Dear Amy,
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for all you do for our very energetic boxer, Ty. When we pull into the driveway, he can hardly contain himself. He knows right where he is and can't wait to jump out of the car to play with all his buddies. He burns off extra energy and is a happier dog as a result. Whether it is clipping his nails, giving advice on behavior or pet products, or taking him when we are on vacation, you do it all! Most importantly, you treat him as we would. And- he is our baby!
Making the decision to drive him to your daycare (considering how far it is for us) is the best thing we could have done for him. As a puppy of 4 months old, he was well socialized early in a perfect environment. He has grown up with daycare and is so good with other dogs outside of daycare. The pack is well controlled and supervised, and you know the little quirky parts to all of their personalities. He and the other dogs clearly know who is boss which is so important to a stable pack. This is something I did not find when looking at other larger facilities. Your daycare is not a free for all like so many are. Ty respects you and knows the boundaries, even if he does challenge you a bit here and there :) I never worry about him when we go away because I know you treat him as one of the family. This is so rare, and we feel extremely lucky to have found you.
Thanks again for everything,

I discovered Dedicated to Dogs almost 4 years ago while I was searching for doggie daycare for my 6 month old boxer mix puppy named Daisy. What a great discovery! The environment is clean, safe, and very welcoming to new customers as well as existing ones. Prices are reasonable, hours are flexible, and the dogs fit right into a home atmosphere with an acre of land to run around!
My initial search for doggie daycare was quite discouraging. Most places I visited were either too expensive, unavailable during the hours I needed them, or operated too much like a corporation rather than a place where I thought my dog would be safe and happy. One day I took my dog to a local pet supplies store, and when I explained my daycare dilemma, the woman behind the counter recommended I call Amy from Dedicated to Dogs because she “heard” Amy does a great job with grooming and also provides doggie daycare. So I did… and it was a perfect match right from the start!
A few months later, I added a new dog (Cody) to my family and started him at Dedicated to Dogs as well. At first, he was very timid and had a tough time adjusting. Since Dedicated to Dogs is entirely focused on the well being of the doggie clients, Amy recommended switching Cody to a different day with a lighter, less rambunctious group to make the transition easier for my shy new puppy. It worked like a charm and he eventually had the confidence to play with any size group.
Even though Cody is a pit bull/australian shepherd mix, as a puppy Amy welcomed him into her home and showed me many techniques to make sure he turned into an even-tempered, friendly, well socialized, playful dog. Rather than immediately discriminate based on breed like most other places do, she took the time to evaluate him as an individual dog and understood that he needed critical socialization early as a puppy. Cody has become a perfect gentleman around my 6 month old son and other children, a best friend for my dog Daisy, and a perfect companion for my 3 cats. I attribute his wonderful socialization skills to his time spent at Dedicated to Dogs.
Over the last several years, Dedicated to Dogs has come through time and time again to meet my last minute daycare and boarding needs. Both of my dogs love going to what I would call their “second home”.
Unfortunately, my dogs can no longer attend Dedicated to Dogs because we have moved out of state. I have checked some local doggie daycares in the area, but none make me feel as comfortable as Dedicated to Dogs… we miss them terribly!

Dear Amy-
I would like to thank you for the great care you give my Boxer, Willow, at your daycare. She is a high-energy dog, and as a busy couple, my husband and I would have difficulty keeping her entertained and socializing her properly on a daily basis. When she was a young puppy, I had an older dog who could not always keep up with her, and your service helped to keep EVERYONE in the family sane and happy. She would come home and flop down on the couch and have dreams about all her doggie friends! We could tell from the dream barking... Willow has also never been to a conventional kennel, and I am so grateful that she behaves as if Dedicated To Dogs is her second home. I never worry about her when we travel, because I know she is happy boarding at "Aunt Amy's"! Thanks for providing such a great service- especially clipping her toenails regularly!
